    Fire Detection Systems

Your fire detection system is on constant guard, always ready to help protect your business or other assets. It is critical that trained and experienced fire protection specialists like Kidde,Sanco Fire analyze your facility and ensure that the proper elements are designed into your fire detection system. Kided and Sanco represents only the most recognized manufactures of highly specialized Fire Detection equipment like Fire Sentry, Protectowire and Vesda. Whether you need heat detectors, smoke detectors, ionization or other sophisticated infrared detectors, realy on Foton Group you find a plan and solution for fire detection.

We can ensure that your investment in security is cost effective, and will go on delivering returns in peace of mind and protection for years to come.

Whether you need consultation and advice on fire protection at the design stage, or effective ways to upgrade an existing system, we will put our expertise at your disposal.

We can provide the skills and resources you need.  From system design, through to supply, installation and commissioning .

Fire Alarm Systems fall broadly in to two groups - Conventional Systems or Analogue Addressable Systems.

Conventional Systems :

Detectors :
From small shops & offices to medium sized buildings, conventional fire alarm systems are a cost effective way to ensure you have a means of detecting & waning of fire. Numerous detectors can be installed on zones, when a detector is triggered the fire alarm control panel will indicate which zone has been triggered, giving you or the fire brigade an indication of the area of activation.

Control Panel :
We can supply from a single zone panel to a 32 zone conventional fire alarm panel.
Our selection of panels offer a technically advanced range of facilities and function whilst remaining easy to install, program and operate.
This range of conventional fire alarm panels are ideally suited for premises such as offices, shop units, pubs, bed and breakfasts, clubs, small industrial units, schools etc.

Analogue Addressable Systems :

Detectors :
This type of fire system is state of the art & is highly intelligent. If a detector is triggered it give a text read out of exactly where this unit is . The main advantage of this system is for large buildings where a detector on a conventional zone may take some time to find. Some examples of where addressable systems are used are:

Hotels & Hospitals, large factories & warehouses, schools & colleges, nursing homes, complex offices & multifunctional buildings. As well as giving an exact point of trigger various other options are available including:
Sounders on the same circuit, cause & effect programming, intelligent control of other equipment, phased evacuation.

Control Panel :
Analogue addressable panels go from a single loop unit to a multi-panel networked system.  This allows us to offer fire detection solutions to a wide variety of situations, from a small building to a large commercial complex.

These panels are more sophisticated than our conventional range and offer greater programmability.  They have high powered, fast processors coupled with flexible programs that make even the most complex site ‘cause and effect’ matrix requirements achievable.

Conventional System :

Fixed Heat Detector :

Heat detector operates by utilising a matched pair of thermistors to sense heat. One of these thermistors is exposed to the ambient temperature, while the other is sealed inside the detector housing.
Under normal conditions, both thermistors register similar readings.
As fire develops, the temperature registered by the exposed thermistor will rise rapidly, resulting in an imbalance, causing the detector to go into its alarm condition.
Rate of rise heat detectors also have an upper temperature limit at which the detector will go into alarm if the rate of temperature increase was too slow to trigger the detector earlier.

Optical smoke Detector :
Optical smoke detectors are designed to respond to a wide spectrum of fires and ease installation. The multisensors use Advanced Photoelectric Technology in conjunction with the fixed temperature heat sensor to further extend its capabilities as a smoke detector. Every unit is individually tested and calibrated to ensure high reliability and prevent false alarms.

Control Panel :

The Firebeta range of conventional microprocessor based fire alarm panels provides a versatile and flexible method of control for smaller, cost-conscious installations.
